About Play Normandie
1.1 What is Play Normandie?
Play Normandie is a social casino: casino-style games you play for fun with Coins, a play currency. It is for adults aged 18 and over. It is not a gambling service.
1.2 Can I win real money or prizes?
No. Coins have no cash value. They can't be withdrawn, paid out, exchanged for prizes or sent to another player. Winning Coins only gives you more to play with.
1.3 Do I have to pay to play?
No. You can play every game with free Coins. Buying Coins is optional and never needed to play.
1.4 Who can play?
Only adults aged 18 or older. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we close it and delete its data.
Account and sign-in
2.1 How do I create an account?
Choose Sign up, enter your name, email address and a password, and confirm that you are 18 or older. We then email you a 6-digit code. Enter it to finish: the code also confirms your email address.
2.2 Why do you email me a code every time I log in?
Every sign-in has two steps: your password, then a 6-digit code we send to your email address. The code works once and for 10 minutes. This way nobody can get into your account with your password alone.
If you prefer, set up an authenticator app in your account settings. You then enter the app's code instead of waiting for an email.
2.3 The code doesn't arrive. What can I do?
Check your spam or junk folder and that you typed your email address correctly. On the code page you can ask for a new code, up to 3 times in 10 minutes. Each new code replaces the previous one.
If it still doesn't arrive, write to us.
2.4 I forgot my password.
Choose Forgot your password? on the login page. We email you a link to choose a new password. The link is valid for 60 minutes.
Coins, bonuses and purchases
3.1 How do I get free Coins?
Every new account starts with 1,000 Coins.
Once every 24 hours you can claim a daily bonus of 250 Coins in the lobby. The next one is ready 24 hours after your last claim.
3.2 How do I buy Coins?
Log in and choose a package in the Shop. You pay on our payment provider's secure page; we never see your card details. The Coins are added to your balance as soon as the payment is confirmed, usually within seconds, and we email you a confirmation.
3.3 Can I get a refund for a purchase?
In the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Coins are delivered straight after payment, so before you pay we ask you to agree to immediate delivery and to confirm that you lose this right once the Coins are credited. Your confirmation email records what you agreed to.
If something went wrong with a purchase, we always put it right. Details: Right of withdrawal.
3.4 I paid but didn't get my Coins.
A payment can show as pending for a few minutes. If the Coins are still missing after that, write to us with the date and amount of the purchase. We check with the payment provider and either credit the Coins or refund the payment in full.
3.5 Where can I see what I have won, lost and bought?
Your Wallet lists every change to your balance: bets, wins, bonuses and purchases. Coins lost in a game are not refunded: every result is final once the round is played.
Fair play
4.1 Are the games fair?
Yes. Every result is drawn on our server by a random number generator, before the game in your browser starts to animate. We lock in our part of the randomness before you bet and mix in a part that belongs to you, so neither we nor you can change a result once the bet is placed.
4.2 Can I check a result myself?
Yes. After a series of rounds we reveal the secret number we used, and anyone can recalculate every result of that series from it. Provably Fair shows how, step by step.
4.3 Do the games favour the house?
Slightly, as in any casino game. Over a very large number of rounds a game pays back about 97% of the Coins played. In a single session you can win or lose far more.
4.4 After a losing streak, am I due a win?
No. Every round is independent. A run of losses doesn't make a win more likely, so don't play on to win Coins back.
Playing responsibly
5.1 How do I take a break or exclude myself?
Write to us from the email address on your account, by email to [email protected] or with the contact form, and tell us how long you want to stop: 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, 5 years or permanently.
We block your account for that period. While it is blocked you can't log in, play, buy Coins or claim bonuses.
5.2 Can a self-exclusion end early?
No. We don't reopen an account before the period you chose has ended; you can only make the break longer. If you exclude yourself permanently, we won't open a new account for you.
5.3 Can I set time or spending limits?
Not on Play Normandie yet. Your phone's screen-time settings can limit playing time, and many banks let you set spending limits on your card. You can always play without buying anything.
5.4 Where can I get help?
If playing is causing you or someone close to you problems, free and confidential help is available. Play Responsibly lists warning signs and support organisations.
Deleting your account
6.1 How do I delete my account?
Open your account settings, choose Delete account and confirm with your password. You are logged out straight away. This can't be undone.
6.2 What happens to my data and my Coins?
We remove your name and email address, and your remaining Coins are gone: they have no cash value and are not paid out. Purchase records, and the billing details they need, are kept for as long as accounting law requires.
If you delete your account during a self-exclusion, we keep your email address until the exclusion ends, so that you can't sign up again before then. Details: Privacy Policy.
Contact
7.1 How do I contact you?
Use the contact form or email [email protected]. We reply to the email address you give us. For questions about your account or a purchase, write from the address registered on your account.
7.2 What do you do with my message?
We use your message and contact details only to answer you. See our Privacy Policy.
